A Global Education Tour
Throughout 2026, Otto has travelled internationally, sharing Monofusion with lash artists, educators and beauty professionals passionate about advancing their knowledge and refining their techniques.
From intimate educational workshops to international stages, artists across Athens, Slovenia, Japan, New York City, Guatemala and Las Vegas have experienced this cutting-edge presentation, gaining valuable insights into the science behind healthier lash lifting, stronger results and more predictable colour outcomes.
The Monofusion world tour continues with upcoming presentations in:
- Sydney – August
- Melbourne – October
- San Diego – October
Each destination has reinforced the same message: as our industry continues to evolve, education remains the key to delivering exceptional client results.

Lift, Lock, Link & Tone: The Science of Monofusion
Monofusion isn’t simply another lash lift technique, it’s a deeper understanding of how product chemistry, hair structure and application methods work together to create healthier, more consistent and beautifully customised results.
In Lift, Lock, Link & Tone: The Science of Monofusion, Otto builds on the core principles of Monofusion, where tinting, setting and bond repair work together in one intelligent phase, before evolving the concept into a more advanced and intentional approach to colour styling for both lashes and brows.
Throughout the presentation, Otto explores how next-generation Step 2 synergy works to:
- Strengthen internal hair bonds during the setting phase.
- Refine the hair cuticle for a smoother, healthier finish.
- Support a more efficient lift without compromising the integrity of the hair.
- Create stronger, more consistent treatment outcomes through a smarter application process.
The session then moves beyond lifting and into colour science.
By understanding how structural changes within the hair influence pigment uptake, tonal accuracy, depth and longevity, artists gain greater control over every lash lift, brow lamination and hybrid dye service they perform.
It’s this combination of cosmetic chemistry, practical technique and real-world application that has made Monofusion one of Otto’s most talked-about education sessions to date.

Monofusion in Action at Elleebana Headquarters
While Otto has been sharing Monofusion with lash artists around the world, our team at Elleebana Headquarters has been putting the methodology into practice every day.
Our Master Educators have been performing Monofusion treatments, refining the technique and showcasing the exceptional results that can be achieved through this innovative approach. We’ve also been incorporating the methodology into Korean lash lifting demonstrations, highlighting how the Monofusion principles can complement advanced Korean lash lift techniques by supporting healthy lash structure, refined bond repair and beautifully customised results.
As artists continue to explore the latest innovations in Korean lash lifting, Monofusion provides a deeper understanding of how hair science, product chemistry and application technique work together to produce exceptional lift, enhanced colour performance and long-lasting results.
From beautifully lifted lashes and improved lash condition to greater control over colour uptake and treatment consistency, Monofusion demonstrates how understanding the science behind every step can elevate the entire client experience.

Hear From the Educators Travelling the Tour
Throughout the Monofusion tour, Elleebana Master Educators Paige and Amie have had the opportunity to work alongside Otto, assisting with demonstrations and supporting artists as they experience the education firsthand.
Their insights have been invaluable in seeing how Monofusion is being embraced by professionals across different countries, while also exploring how the methodology can be adapted across different techniques, products and client needs.
Sharing her experience from the Monofusion tour, Paige explains how this approach empowers artists with greater confidence, control and consistency throughout the lash lifting process:
“Monofusion offers a wise approach to lash lifting, allowing the Lash Artist greater control throughout the application process while supporting both product performance and lash integrity. Understanding how different steps within the system behave together, lash artists can work more efficiently and accurately during the treatment. This synergistic approach supports seamless application, improved timing control, and more balanced processing across varying lash types, creating a cleaner, consistent lift with increased confidence.
Further benefits of Monofusion extend beyond product application, encouraging Lash Artists to advance their education and technical understanding of lash chemistry, formulation behavior with the interactions of systems. Through deeper knowledge artists can discover how combining different elements of the treatment process can influence overall performance, lash condition and results. This level of understanding provides a more customised experience elevating their result while maintaining strength, flexibility, and integrity of the natural lashes.”

Having demonstrated Monofusion internationally at Elleevation Slovenia and Elleevation Greece, Amie has explored the practical application of the technique across different product combinations, lash types and salon environments.
Through her demonstrations, Amie has showcased how Monofusion can help artists streamline their workflow while maintaining beautiful lift structure, colour performance and lash integrity:
“Monofusion is a technique designed to streamline the lash lift process by combining tint directly into Step 2 without the use of oxidant, allowing artists to reduce overall treatment time without compromising the integrity of the result. The science behind this technique lies in understanding the chemistry of the lash during the neutralising phase. Once Step 1 has softened and restructured the bonds within the hair, Step 2 works to stabilise the new shape while the cuticle remains receptive. By incorporating tint into this stage, we are able to deposit colour simultaneously while the lashes are still in an ideal state for absorption. One of the most important factors for successful Monofusion results is ensuring Step 1 is thoroughly removed and deactivated with water before proceeding, as any remaining residue can interfere with colour development and prevent optimal tint penetration.
During my demonstrations at Elleevation Slovenia and Elleevation Greece, I explored different product combinations across each eye to compare performance and finish. On one eye I used powder during Step 1, while the other utilised balm. I then continued with corresponding powder and balm systems through Step 2, ReGEN and tint application. The benefit of Monofusion for lash artists is not only the reduced service time, but also improved workflow efficiency within salon environments, allowing artists to perform multiple enhancement steps simultaneously while still maintaining beautiful lift structure, colour payoff and lash condition. It offers artists a modern, time-conscious approach to lash lifting that supports both salon productivity and client experience.”
