One of the biggest misconceptions about competitions is that they’re only valuable if you win.
In reality, the greatest reward often comes long before the results are announced.
Spanning across sport, art, business, and education, competitions exist because they challenge us to step outside of our comfort zones, refine our skills, and connect with others who share the same passion. The lash and brow industry is no different.
Preparing a competition entry forces you to look at your work through a completely different lens. Every detail suddenly matters even more. Your consultation process, product selection, timing, symmetry, styling choices, and finishing touches are all viewed with a level of intention that goes beyond your everyday routine.
This year, inspired by the excitement and global connection that comes with one of the world’s biggest sporting events, we launched the Elleebana World Cup 2026 – a celebration of creativity, artistry, and technical excellence within the international lash and brow community.
But beyond the awards and recognition, the competition was created to give artists something even more valuable: an opportunity to grow. More importantly, it serves as a reminder that you’re not growing alone.
One of the most common questions we hear is:
“What could I gain by entering?”
Elleebana Master Educator Amie Buckley, who has participated in numerous lash and brow competitions throughout her career, believes one of the greatest benefits is the opportunity to learn from and be inspired by others.
“When you’re surrounded by talented and passionate artists, it’s incredibly inspiring,” she explains.
For Amie, competition participation isn’t just about recognition – it’s about becoming a stronger, more skilled and more confident artist than you were before.
When asked what she learnt about herself and her skillset through competition participation, Amie reflected:
“I learnt that competitions don’t just make you feel like a better artist-they make you become a better artist. They encourage growth, discipline, resilience, and confidence. They push you outside your comfort zone and show you what you’re capable of when you commit to continuous improvement.”
Her advice for anyone considering entering? Simple: “Do it.“

Entering also places your work in front of respected educators, judges, and industry leaders from around the world. We have already been overwhelmed by the excitement surrounding the Elleebana World Cup 2026, with industry professionals confirmed from the UK, Mexico, Europe, Australia and the USA. Providing exposure, credibility, strengthens your personal brand, and allows you to showcase your artistry on a global stage.

Most importantly, competitions create connection.
They remind us that we are part of something bigger than our treatment rooms, salons, or local communities. They bring together artists from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds who all share a passion for delivering exceptional results and advancing our industry.
At Elleebana, that’s what the Elleebana World Cup 2026 is truly about.
It’s not simply about finding a winner. It’s about celebrating the artists who are willing to challenge themselves, share their work, and contribute to the ongoing growth of our global lash and brow community.
Previous Competition Entries

Because every entry tells a story. Every submission represents courage, dedication, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
And sometimes, the greatest achievement isn’t winning the competition.
It’s having the confidence to enter.
